Naive Summer is a street with no shadows: pink and white facades leaning into a peach sky, arched windows glazed in deep blue, balconies with nobody on them. Two bands of gold hold the scene like the edges of a postcard.
It is the summer you remember rather than the one you had — hotter, pinker, quieter — painted flat and bright on purpose, the way a child would paint a place they loved.
